Councillors Ashley Bowkett and Joshua Taylor are part of the Liberal Democrat team representing Barnwood.
Ashley, who lives in Barnwood, was first elected in a by-election in 2019.
He made his home in Gloucester in 2011 after spending eight years working in China, Singapore, and the US.
He is an award-winning documentary producer/director, and has worked in international television production, broadcasting, and distribution since the early 2000s.
Joshua also lives in Barnwood and works as a teacher in a local secondary school. He was first elected in May 2024.
Ashley will be standing for the county council in Barnwood & Hucclecote division as Councillor David Brown is stepping down after many years of dedicated service.
