Local councillor chosen as Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Gloucester
Rebecca Trimnell, who is a councillor for Westgate on the city council, was chosen by local Lib Dem party members.
Local councillor Rebecca Trimnell is the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Gloucester at the next general election.
The mother of one represents Westgate on the city council and lives in the city close to St Oswald's Priory.
Councillor Trimnell works for a charity helping people with dementia and has previously worked in social care, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic, helping some of our city’s most vulnerable.
She also has a strong record of voluntary work, including as a trained Samaritan volunteer and a mental health first aider.
