Student parking solution sought

The Lib Dems have written to the University of Gloucestershire about on-street parking problems near the Oxstalls Campus.

Lib Dem campaigners Sarah Sawyer and Linda Castle want the university to consider measures to prevent a return to past problems.

Sarah Sawyer said: "I want them to tell students and staff to walk, cycle or use public transport.

"Teaching staff should also increase the time they work from home and the university must make more use of video conferencing."
