Progress made to secure future of Elmscroft community centre

Excellent progress is being made to secure the future of the Elmscroft Community Centre.

The Elmscroft Team have been working with the County Council who own the land and main building and are expected to agree a new lease in July.

Anne Radley, chairman of the Elmscroft Community Association, said: "I'm so grateful for the support from Jeremy, Howard and Emily I don't think we could have got this far without them."
Councillor Howard Hyman added: "It is vital to preserve and enhance this valuable community building. We will continue to support it."
The centre is the largest community facility in the ward and hosts a wide range of activities.
