Councillor Sebastian Field has sent personal letters to local residents who have helped out during the Covid-19 crisis.
He said: "I am grateful to anyone who helped me in my work and who helped local residents.
"If anyone knows of someone who deserves a thank you - please let me know about them and I will make sure they are properly thanked.
"Thanks also to Linda Cohen for helping me with the literacy project, delivering hundreds of books and craft packs to Gloucester children during the lockdown."
