Local support for families with children

As happened during the floods of 2007 Hucclecote Churches have again joined up to bring comfort and relief where it is needed.

"Box of Hope" is a national project in partnership with the charity Transforming Lives for Good.

The aim is to support those struggling families most vulnerable to 'holiday hunger' during the Summer months.

Hillview Primary and Dinglewell Infants & Junior schools are supporting the initiative.

Boxes will be distributed each Tuesday for six weeks from mid-July containing a variety of essential and practical items such as food and household necessities for a family as well as some activities and treats to combat boredom and aid family well-being at this time.
