Council letting bushes block footway

Its summertime and bushes are growing, but the city council's streetcare contractor seems to be asleep.
Once again your Liberal Democrat Spotlight team have reported overgrown vegetation that is blocking a path.
This time the bushes are along St Oswald's Road, next to the footbridge that crosses it.
"Its amazing that the council doesn't have a proper schedule for such work," said Westgate campaigner Rebecca Trimnell.
