Alley finally cleared of weeds

Councillor Sebastian Field reported the alleyway between Podsmead Road and Thornhill Close for weed clearance three times over the last few months before it was finally completed by the council.
“I first requested the weeds be removed in August and have followed up several times since. These simple jobs are taking longer to get done, and more times asking. It truly is a vanishing council.
“I was even told in an email that it is no longer policy to accept requests for weed-spraying in individual roads, so I am not quite sure how I am supposed to be reporting all the weeds.”
