A417 WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT

Maintenance work is scheduled for the drainage network of the A417 between Gloucester's Elmbridge Court and C&G roundabouts next week.
Highways crews will be on site to clean the road's drainage system.
Scheduled work includes cleaning the filter drain in the central reservation, as well as removing vegetation that is blocking the drains.
This will allow surface water on the road to drain more effectively, improving driving conditions.
To ensure the work is completed in the safest and most efficient way, an off-peak lane closure will be in place on the southbound lane between the Elmbridge Court and C&G roundabouts.
The lane will be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday February 26 to Thursday March 1, avoiding peak travel times.
