Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are working hard for Tuffley

Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley report back on a range of issues across the ward.

The Lib Dem team has again asked for the faded yellow zig-zag lines outside Willow Primary School in Bisley Road to be repainted.

A large mound of soil which has been dumped on Rissington Road has been reported to the city council for removal, as has a fridge on the grass in Arlingham Road and a sofa on Evenlode Road.

The Lib Dem team has reported to the city council faded road signs in Slimbridge Road, Voyce Close and Bisley Road for replacement.

Caroline is still trying to find out who is responsible for maintaining the car parking area outside Seventh Avenue shops, to try and get the area resurfaced.

The city council cut back some of the overgrown weeds and brambles in Bybrook Gardens – leaving Caroline to finish the job. She also joined the local community to cut back the brambles obstructing the footbridge over the railway at Larkspear Close.

Bushes on Robert Raikes Avenue near the allotments have also been cut back.

The faded speed limit signs at St Barnabas roundabout have now been replaced after a request from the Lib Dem team.

The team is also discussing with the council measures for ensuring any rubbish bags left by Travellers using the field at Robert Raikes Avenue are cleared away promptly, as well as plans for a legal temporary site for Travellers in Gloucestershire.
